NFC Stadium Opinions

Bank of America Stadium

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium
Name: Joe Sorrentino
Grade:
C
Pros:
The stadium is situated in a nice part of town, and the food is surprisingly affordable by stadium standards.  Appearance wise Ericcson Stadium is handsome with its black granite accents.  Its wide, sun-lit concourses are impressive.
Cons: Since the upper deck doesn't overhang the lower bowl, the folk upstairs are in addition to being too high up are too far back from the field.  The two tiers of luxury boxes encircling the stadium (which are usually around 75% empty at any NFL game) further elevating the upper deck, making the place seem like a stadium inside a stadium. It just doesn't have that cozy, close-knit feel of a Lambeau Field.
Additional Comments:
Parking varies from $5 to $30.  Charlotte has absolutely no NFL football spirit. There were very few tail-gaters and if you subtract all the opponent's jerseys, at most, 10% of the crowd wore any type of Panther apparel.  But even the Panther cheerleaders could get a rise out of these fans.  The combination of a massive, segmented stadium and uninspired fans adds up to a hum-drum football experience.

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium
Name: Steve
Grade:
D
Pros:
The stadium sits within the prettiest skyline in the southeast. It's easy in and easy out as the stadium is never filled to capacity. When the Cowboys come to Charlotte, it's about half n half in terms of fans. The beer is less than $5 for 16 oz, so thats a plus. All around nice stadium with one of the classiest owners in the NFL, Jerry Richardson running the show. It now hosts a college bowl game which was alot of fun last year.
Cons: Not alot of Panther spirit. There are some die-hards, but the team is too new. I support them, but not my favorite team. Team hasn't made it to prime time in a few years, so no night games yet.
Additional Comments:
Bad-ass panther statues stand guard outside the 4 main entries with all original psl holders names engraved in the base of the statue. It truly represents the Carolinas well being just 5 miles away from SC and located in the best city in NC.

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium
Name: Matt
Grade:
A
Pros:
Very good bowl design in stadium made exclusively for football.  Helpful staff and polite fans.  Wide concourses and plenty bathrooms, concessions etc.  Comfy seats with ample legroom.
Cons: Scoreboard is marginally good but nothing special.  Upper level does not hang over bottom level so probably little too far away from the field but still a good seat for the price.
Additional Comments:
10,000 pound, menacing Panther statues at each gate.  Carolina Panthers headquarters and practice facilities are within/adjacent to stadium.

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium
Name: Jeff M.
Grade:
B
Pros:
Beautiful place to watch a football game.  Located in downtown Charlotte with a nice skyline as a back drop, BofA is situated where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to go to after the game.  The concourses are fairly large and the seating areas have very good leg room.  Plenty of cupholders, bathrooms, etc.  Beautiful exterior to the stadium and the Panther's headquarters are incorporated to the stadium w/o detracting from the appearance.
Cons: Time to upgrade the video boards.  Not a very open feel to the stadium.  Enclosed and too big for the market.
Additional Comments:
Because of the Panther's unrealistic hope of hosting the Super Bowl, the stadium was built to hold 73K seats.  Way too many for a 'new' NFL team.  If the stadium had been constructed to hold 65K-68K like most newer NFL stadiums, the Panthers probably would have had an easier time selling out over the years (has been selling out more since 2003) and could have had a more open feel (similar to Raymond James or The Linc).  Overall, a nice stadium!

Stadium: Bank of America Stadium
Name: Robin Warner
Grade:
A
Pros:
The stadium is beautiful inside and out. Also very accessible.  The Panther statues are very impressive.  Staff is friendly and helpful and the food is good.  Field is grass.
Cons: Team store could carry more products.
Additional Comments:
Fans are getting better...they're really starting to (finally) support the team and show it.  The owner, coach, and team are all class acts.

Edward Jones Dome

Stadium: Edward Jones Dome
Name: Jeff Edwards
Grade:
B
Pros:
Great sight lines from every seat in the stadium. All seats are on top of the action, unlike some stadiums that push seats away from the playing field. Always 68 degrees, be it August or January. Easy entry. Escalators to all levels for all fans, not just club seat holders. Very LOUD, which is a good thing for the home team. Lots of bathrooms and concessions.
Cons: Darker than alot of domes due to the concrete roof. Parking is kind of spread out, though plenty can be found within a short walk of the Dome.
Additional Comments: Great place to see a game if you're a Rams fan!

FedEx Field

Stadium: FedEx Field
Name: Darian L.
Grade:
C
Pros:
Good site lines from most locations, Colorful, Outdoor Stadium, Sound system
Cons: Narrow concourses on upper deck, Lack of restrooms, Small video boards (where are the widescreens?), No cup holders, Limited food options in general seating, No Metro, Only one escalator to upper deck, Very bland from outside. Parking attendants. Traffic is still bad. (although much improved) Not well thought out for a new stadium.
Additional Comments: This stadium was completed for the '97 season and compared to the stadiums in Charlotte, Tampa, Baltimore and Nashville, there is something missing. I am a Redskin season ticket holder but I have attended games in the above locations and they all have more presence than Fed-Ex Field. Once you get past the size factor of Fed-Ex (it is HUGE) there is just not much personality. Tampa is the best stadium I have visited followed by Baltimore. I think Fed-EX could have been just as good if they had just paid attention to the the details.

Stadium: FedEx Field
Name: Keith Lane
Grade:
B
Pros:
It's large.  Redskins play there.  Natural grass.
Cons: Terrible location.  Out in Maryland somewhere,
there is NOTHING around the stadium.  Traffic into and from the stadium is horrible, at least an hour wait each way.  The seats seem far away from the field.
Additional Comments:
Horrible location for a DC team.  They could not have done a worse job on this stadium.

Stadium: FedEx Field
Name: Rick
Grade:
C
Pros:
Decent views from almost everywhere in the stadium.  Seats down low are nice and close to the action yet are high enough vantage point that 6'5 football players don't block your view.
Cons: Parking... how does one build a stadium this far out of DC and still not have enough parking?  If you don't have one of the limited parking passes, pay lots are across the highway (about 2 miles) and a shuttle bus to and from the stadium.  What's even more offensive is that you get charged $25.00 for the privilege. Sitting in the upper deck is never a happy occasion after you've filled up on beers and tailgate food in order to avoid $6.00 beers and $5.00 hot dogs that Danny charges.  It's like a ten block uphill walk on stadium switchbacks to get to ones seat (*note Pro Player in Miami got this right.)  Escalators are an option, but there is only one.  So if you don't want to wait in line or you come in on the wrong side of the stadium, it's the switchbacks for you. One other pet peeve is that the out of town scoreboard is never showing scores.  Makes fantasy football geeks like me wish I had stayed home and watched it on TV.
Additional Comments:
Overall the stadiums lacks character.  It feels like a 300 million dollar municipal stadium that may have been build in the 70's.

Stadium: FedEx Field
Name: Steve Hoffman
Grade:
C
Pros:
Right off the beltway. Traffic improved.
Cons: Bad parking arrangement. Bad concessions, not much choice in the way of food and the prices are outrageous. Very cold feeling and atmosphere. Too bland. Too many advertisements during a game. It's strictly about making money with not much thought directed toward the fan. I am very disappointed with this stadium.
Additional Comments:
They need to bring in a consultant to re-think this stadium out.

Stadium: FedEx Field
Name: Marc T.
Grade:
C
Pros:
Size, size, and more size.  The bigger the better.  Largest stadium in the NFL.  Sound system is good.
Cons: Location, Location, and Location!  Another team (N.Y. Giants, N.Y. Jets come to mind) playing in a city they don't represent.  The stadium should have been built in Washington, D.C.  If only Dan Snyder had bought the team before Jack Kent Cooke died.  D.C. is centrally located for the entire region.  Not to mention the many amenities and subway stations in the city.  It would have been easy in, easy out; not the nightmare I experience at each home game in Landover, MD.
Additional Comments:
I know FedEx is pretty new.  But any chance we can move into D.C. Dan?

Ford Field

Stadium: Ford Field
Name: Peter
Grade:
C

Pros:
Without question, the most beautiful
stadium I have ever been inside.  It's large atrium allows a nice combination of natural and artificial lights.  The sightlines are fantastic, as all the suites are built smartly into an old office building allowing the upper sections to be much closer to the field.  The Lions may not know how to build a team, but they scored big time with that amazing stadium.  It's worth checking out in person.

Cons:
The clubs seats were too expensive. Plus, the evil Detroit Tiger taboo may seep into Ford Field, as the stadiums sit side by side.
Additional Comments:
None.

Stadium: Ford Field
Name: Marcus A.
Grade:
A

Pros:
Greatest Stadium in NFL Right now has beautiful glass atrium and great suits.
Cons:
65,000 seats could use about 10 thousand more but more are coming by Super Bowl XL
Additional Comments:
Great stadium that will be featured in Super Bowl XL, so come out and take a look.

Stadium: Ford Field
Name:
Wade Hinkle
Grade:
F

Pros:
Good lighting in parking lots, frequent security patrols. Mobile vendors in parking lots sell high-end cigars! And the Redskins band is first-rate.
Cons:
Almost too many to list. Location: middle of suburban Maryland. No mass-transit except by bus. Traffic grid-lock getting there. Parking lots are a disaster. Getting in and out is an all-day exercise. Not enough spaces for fans, so many are forced to park in auxiliary lots miles away and take shuttle buses. And for this they are charged $25! Food: sucks. Plus long lines at concession stands. Food prices are stratospheric, and fans are not allowed to bring food in from outside. Sound system: deafening. Commercials played nearly non-stop. Scoreboards: video quality is nice, but many seats have view of the displays blocked. Upper deck: only one escalator with long wait time. Upper deck seats are at nose-bleed altitude. Fan drunkenness at FedEx is now epidemic. I see fist-fights every game, and after knocking back a few, many fans scream at players and officials using language that makes me reluctant to take my wife to the game.
Additional Comments:
Absolutely the *worst* stadium in the NFL. And the Redskins don't seem to give a damn. Prices are sky-high, and the game-day experience is awful. Stay home and watch on tv. I loved RFK Stadium, went for many years. But I've been to my last game at FedEx!

Georgia Dome

Stadium: Georgia Dome
Name: Brendan Tover
Grade:
B

Pros:
The pros of The Georgia dome is the festivities that go on before the game outside the dome. If your hungry before the game you can head to the nearby CNN center for some food. There is also great views from any seat and ticket prices are very affordable. Nice sound system to let you know on the action. Plenty of bathrooms and good food. Bright, the roof lets some light in.
Cons: Parking. There is no on site parking areas on the GA dome so therefore you have to walk a little bit to get to the dome. There is little tailgating action, however there is a spot covered by train tracks which is an excellent spot to park and tailgate. The outside of the stadium is rather boring with a ugly pink color. The inside is also ugly with teal colored seats, however they aren't that noticeable now that the Falcons get lots of fans now. The Georgia Dome also has cheesy posters on the inside of the stadium. The food inside the dome is good but overpriced.
Additional Comments: Very Loud. A good place to go on a weekend.

Stadium: Georgia Dome
Name: Carl J.
Grade:
C

Pros:
The Falcons play there. Good view from anywhere in the place. Friendly staff.

Cons: Little tailgating options. Exterior and interior color of the stadium. The daggone roof.
Additional Comments: If I were typing this stadium review pre-2002 (before we got a new owner in town) then I couldn't be nearly as nice but much has changed for the Dome and fans of the Falcons in the few years that Arthur Blank has been in control of the franchise. The Georgia Dome, while not in the greatest part of town, is still easily accessible by train. There are several lots in the area but unlike most NFL stadiums where the parking is situated around the facility Falcon fans are thrown here and there around the city at lots around the city (no further than 1.5 to 2 miles from the stadium. The Gulch, one of the main parking areas for fans is the most popular places to tailgate and gather before games. There is a fan festival before every Falcon home game in the park adjacent to the Dome. These festivals feature games, musical performances and everything you need to get ready for a Sunday ballgame. While the Georgia Dome is quite large it offers a good seat from just about anywhere in the place (I sat in the second row from the top at SuperBowl 34 and wasn't all that disappointed). Since the Georgia Dome is city controlled and not entirely for the Falcons the interior of the stadium includes teal seats from first row to last. This used to be a real problem in the days when the stadium was half empty but now that things with the Falcons have picked up a bit it's not as noticable as the place is packed with more fans ready to see what Mike Vick is up to. The exterior of the stadium also has this hideous light purple color to it that has no business being associated with an NFL franchise.  Colors aside, the place is really nice. The stadium facades are decorated in Falcon Red and Black and the stadiums P.A system puts out more than enough power to let you know what's going on. While the video boards aren't the large endzone sized ones that are all the rage in NFL stadiums now, they are large enough for everyone to get a view of the last missed call or gorgeous TD pass. When the fans aren't sitting on their hands (which is more often than they should be) the place can get plenty loud thanks in part to the roof overhead. When things pick up inside the place is downright deafening. In all, the Georgia Dome is a nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon. The food isn't bad, though a little pricey, and the staff makes you feel more than welcome into the place. It's not Lambeau or Raymond James, but as far as domed stadiums go this place ranks near the top.

Lambeau Field

Stadium: Lambeau Field
Name: Bill Waserdants
Grade:
C

Pros:
Tradition, Bleeds football, The Packers play there

Cons: Cold, Narrow concourses.
Additional Comments: This is a true football stadium. No dome or seats with backs on them. Lambeau is probably my favorite place in the world. When you walk into the stadium all you see is green and gold. All you can smell are brats and beer. All you can hear are the cheers of the fans as the public address announcer says the name Brett Favre. This is a stadium that I think every sports fan should visit at least once in there lives. I am glad they a renovating. The concourses are currently so narrow that it has become a fan safety problem. Other than that the only thing I disliked was that I liked it to much. Once you sit down you won't want to leave.

Stadium: Lambeau Field
Name: Mark Brown
Grade:
A

Pros:
Incredible atmosphere walking from a parking lot through a neighborhood of small houses and then...boom!! there is the incredible facade of Lambeau, where I dreamed of going since 1960.  The new renovations are great and the stadium is now the best of modern technology.  But what makes it special is the closeness of the seating bowl  to the field.  My tickets were on the 25 yard line row 4 and I was closer tot the field than I was at the high school game I went to on Friday.  You could really experience the game.
Cons: None.
Additional Comments: Green Bay is an incredible place to see an NFL game because it truly is a small town except fo rthe Packers so you zip in and zip out!

Stadium: Lambeau Field
Name:
Ryan Charbonneau
Grade:
A

Pros:
Beautiful Design. Awesome football town. Looks like a normal small U.S.A city with a huge stadium in the middle. Don Hutson center is across the street. Tailgating is the best. A must visit for any football fan.
Cons: No back support on benches. Rows can get really crowded so you get sandwiched together ,but once the game starts you don't even notice.
Additional Comments: I have seen Heinz Field, Soldier Field, Ford Field, Pontiac Silverdome, Browns Stadium and Lambeau Field is the best.

Stadium: Lambeau Field
Name: Jim Wichelecki
Grade:
A

Pros:
The newly renovated Lambeau Field is the best stadium that I have ever been to. The place is UNBELIEVABLE!!!   First  the brick and wrought iron exterior is reminiscent of the older ballyards of the past. It gives the stadium a classic look like the original Comiskey Park in Chicago. Inside the concourses are bigger and better.  The Packers made the concourses wider and they also put in ramps and another wide concourse for fans who have to go to the upper levels. Which there are now plenty of escalators and elevators to guide you to your seats.
The concessions are very much improved, the variety is excellent!!  One stand has a variety of beer. But the best part has to be that the seating bowl has not been changed. The sightlines are excellent.  The first 60 rows are the original structure, above that is 8 rows of new seating which brings the capacity to 72,515.  The views are awesome from the top rows.  Also the atmosphere has not changed, its been enhanced with all the improvements. After the game its so easy to leave. It took me less than 5 min. to walk from one end of the stadium to the other to leave the stadium with over 72,000 leaving at the same time.  The fans are loud I felt the place shake a few times this past year, Its an great place to watch football. The Packers had the foresight to put in restaurants and the hall of fame. The food at the restaurants is Excellent.  Curley's Pub has the best food and generous portions. I highly recommend the planked walleye. The restaurants are open all year long now.

Cons: I have to say parking is scarce.  So get there early and pre pay your parking its the quickest.
Additional Comments: Being a season ticket holder at Lambeau Field, I have been fortunate to be in the original Stadium and the redeveloped stadium. I must say thank you to the Packers  for renovating this Jewel of the NFL.

Lincoln Financial Field

Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Name: Malik
Grade:
A
Pros:
New stadium that enhances your experience. Designed with fans in mind and there are more than enough bathrooms throughout the stadium.
Cons: The seats are a little tight compared to The Vet. One side of the stadium is open so some sound escapes.
Additional Comments: It's one of the best stadiums I've ever been too and I've been to a lot. The Eagles Pro Shop was a really good idea and I spent a lot of time before the game in there. If your in the Philadelphia area, stop by the stadium. You won't regret it.

Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Name: S.H.
Grade:
A
Pros:
This stadium is great. The design is amazing. The sightlines and closeness make you feel as a part of the action. The largest video screens in the NFL are fun to watch replays on.

Cons: I didnt like the lack of a flag pole. The American flag dangles on one of the small roof like overhangs. I think the pole on the "birds nest" would make a good spot for the star spangled banner.
Additional Comments: This is the NFLs greatest stadium. The design, features, and fans make it a must see. The Eagles are great too!

Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Name: Tyrell
Grade:
A
Pros:
This is no question the best stadium in the world. Philadelphia is the best city in the world so its no wonder that we have the best stadium. Just the structure makes you want to smack yo mama.
Cons:
E!A!G!L!E!S rock the stadium rock and when a game is being played the crowd goes nut and the stadium really be moving
Additional Comments: PHILLY IS THE BEST!

Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Name: Roger Lowe
Grade:
A
Pros:
All of the seating is angled toward the action.  The largest scoreboards in the NFC sit above each endzone.  It would be a great concert stadium.  The pro-shop was great.
Cons: It doesn't feel as ruff and tuff as Veterans stadium did.  I still don't know why the Eagles didn't add more than 60,000 seats with the amount of fans they could pack in there.  Too many bathrooms.
Additional Comments: It's not the vet, but well see how close it can get to feeling  it.

Metrodome

Stadium: Metrodome
Name: Floyd
Grade:
A

Pros:
Great football seats, (very opposite when it comes to baseball seats), very loud, one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL.

Cons: It's indoors, bleak, domed stadiums are stadiums for wussies!  Red McCombs (who has worn out his welcome big time!) owns the the team. Tailgating sucks compared to that of the Metropolitan stadium!  Did I forget to mention that it's indoors, and Red McCombs wants to replace it with another indoor stadium!  Yuck!!!!
Additional Comments: Metropolitan Stadium may of had baseball seats, but at least it was outdoors!!!

Stadium: Metrodome
Name: J.T.
Grade:
C

Pros:
View is good from every seat for football. Seats are comfortable, plenty of room. Every game sells out and the fans get really loud...providing a very fun experience. Easy access to every section from the outside, due to upper and lower deck gates.  Pretty easy to get back on the freeway after the game.  New field turf makes it look more like a football field, rather than carpet.

Cons: Its indoors, but Minneapolis has some freezing winters.  Baseball seats dont offer very good views.  Not much to look at besides the game due to the all white roof.  Downtown parking so tailgating is limited but there is still plenty to due outside the gates.
Additional Comments: I think its time that Minneapolis gets separate Vikings and Twins stadiums.  The Twins are a good team and good generate so much more if it wasn't for playing in the boring metrodome and the Vikings provide so much, they need and upgrade. The Cardinals are getting a new stadium, I mean c'mon...the Arizona Cardinals!  The only other NFL team to share its stadium with a baseball team is the Dolphins, this trend its over. Come on Red McCombs, fork over some of that cash!

Monster Park

Stadium: Monster Park
Name: Giovanni
Grade:
F
Pros:
Although it doesn't have the brand spanking new facilities and it is aging the feeling of NFL history really strikes you when you first see the field, you think of Joe Montana, Steve Young, and all the playoff games that led to the 49ers becoming the winningiest team in NFL history, and of course the catch that Dwight Clark made in the back of the endzone that sent the 49ers to their first super bowl victory, one of five.  And to think it all started here really makes you stop and think about the history in this old stadium.  But hopefully the niners will get a new stadium in the not too distant future, they definitely deserve it!
Cons: Only one, it's really cold and breezy, but as a native San Franciscan that doesn't bother me much!
Additional Comments:
None.

Stadium: Monster Park
Name: Kevin
Grade:
F
Pros:
If you're looking for some quiet reading time, then this is the place.  Fans are very, very quiet and have no passion for the game.
Cons: The absolute worst football stadium in the NFL..hands down.  Bad seats, poor configuration, and clueless football fans.  People are there for the social gathering instead of watching a game.
Additional Comments:
Not worth the price of admission...better off attending a local pop warner game instead.  Much more exciting.

Qwest Field

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name: Sean
Grade:
F

Pros:
Good sight lines.  Beautiful views throughout the stadium of the pacific northwest.  Nice and wide concourses. Excellent club level.

Cons: Open-air stadium in Seattle, could get pretty cold. Ramps take forever to get up. Parking is a bit expensive.
Additional Comments: I've only been to one game so far, but I was able to explore the whole stadium and I must say it is the nicest in the NFL.  Although it will probably get pretty cold and damp in winter, Seattle fans are used to football in the rain at Husky Stadium.  The upper west concourse offers a great view of puget sound and downtown.  And the upper deck on the south end offers views of downtown looking north, and Safeco Field and Mt. Rainier looking south.  You can park at the north end lot, the garage, or somewhere around Safeco field.  Even though the "Hawk Nest" was designed for the rowdy face painters, they actually sit at the south end.  The stadium can get pretty loud when the Seahawks got something going.  To sum it up: It sure beats the Kingdome!

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name: Shane
Grade:
A

Pros:
Great sightlines. Awesome views of the surroundings. Fan friendly distance from the field. Not a bad seat in the house.

Cons: Seating prices are slightly high. Concessions are a bit overpriced.
Additional Comments: This stadium will go down as being the first to feature the fan-covered, open-field structure.  Dallas' Stadium does not count, sine it has almost a full roof.

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name: Mark C.S.
Grade:
B

Pros:
Fantastic views of the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound, and Mt. Rainier. Great site lines on the playfield from all points in the stadium. Nicely designed roof. Absolute KUDOS to the 1400 handicap spaces available...the most I know of in any NFL stadium or any other stadium the world!!!
Cons: The upper bowl is way too high and far to climb up, too bad for those suckers that paid near $50 for the nose bleed seats. The architects could have designed another level with either more elevators or escalators for easier accessibility. The concessions are less than par then the ones at Safeco Field next door.
Additional Comments: It could use a Seahawks museum and  a public resturant or lounge that the average fan can attend, preferably one within and one outside the stadium.
Cheaper tickets would help as well.

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name: Jason Ferguson
Grade:
A

Pros:
Great views of the field from all areas, an open air stadium even in Seattle but football is meant to be played in the elements. Now we know what we have been missing in Seattle since the Hawks came into the league. also great views of downtown to the north.
Cons: My only dislike is that the ramps are too long
Additional Comments: Really good for concerts because the sound just bounces off the lower bowl.

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name:
Mark Deshaw
Grade:
A

Pros:
Gorgeous city vistas; closeness of all seats to field (LOUD!); south endzone pick nick concourse; partially covered only (football is a game that should be played in the elements); loud metal "Hawk Nest" grandstand in north end zone
Cons: Only partially covered so no Super Bowl (and a third of the fans get rained on); concourses not open to views of field; pro shop is cramped.
Additional Comments: Some heated seating would be the only luxury I could think of to make the experience better.  I've been to many NFL stadiums around the country and this one should be the standard to which all future ones are built.

Stadium: Qwest Field
Name: Mario
Grade:
A

Pros:
Outstanding views of my hometown & impressive sound system accounting the open field. Most of all, it hosts one of the best unconditional fans in America.

Cons: It does get pretty chilly, but it is better than playing in a rundown Kingdome.
Additional Comments: Yeah last year it hosted an undefeated home-team. The 12th man will push the Hawks to do it again. GO SEAHAWKS!

Raymond James Stadium

Stadium: Raymond James Stadium
Name: Christopher
Grade:
A

Pros:
Great entertainment, such as The awesome pirate ship and the stadium just feels open, its a great feeling to be a buccaneer fan, growing up and going to games in the "sombaro" im really proud of ray jay.

Cons: The escalators are very crowded and when trying to get off during pre game people stop in front and its hard to get off.
Additional Comments: I like ray jay its an awesome sporting complex.

Stadium: Raymond James Stadium
Name: Chris P.
Grade:
A

Pros:
The stadium is spacious yet intimate.  You have plenty of room to stretch out but still feel a part of the play.  It's also used by the University of South Florida, and I actually like the stadium better for college ball.  It is a breeze to get in and out of the games too.
Cons: Like all sports arenas now, it is build around entertainment that interferes with the enjoyment of the game.  While you get used the fake cannon going off every time the Bucs hit the 20 or score, it's just downright annoying.  The acoustics, well, I probably shouldn't write what I am thinking.  If you want any analysis or play-by-play, bring your radio.
Additional Comments: None.

Soldier Field

Stadium: Soldier Field
Name: J Mike
Grade:
A

Pros:
Lake front location is unreal.  Whole area around stadium is park lands.  Great views of Chicago skyline from stadium.  Food is really good.  Historical aspects are a nice touch.  Never went to original Soldier Field, but the new one is pretty cool.  Very, very loud.  Fans are somewhat nice to visitors as I was in Patriot Blue for Bears/Vikings.  Green Bay fans need watch out.
Cons: Traffic.  Use train system as parking sucks.  Concourses are very narrow.  team shop is relatively small.  Limited tailgating due to underground parking.  Can get very, very cold.  Temps can drop by 30 degrees in shade during winter games.  Oh and the home team hasn't been very good lately.
Additional Comments: A good time at the game.

Stadium: Soldier Field
Name: Tom R.
Grade:
A

Pros:
Since they kept the old structure of Solider Field, they had to fit the entire new stadium within it - which means everyone is much closer to the field than the old stadium.  The Cadillac Club for club seat holders is excellent with great food and drinks.  Helpful staff, and great views of Lake Michigan.  Nice park outside field
Cons: Still some occasional bathroom lines.  No large mall like area.  Don't think of driving if you don't have a parking pass, park downtown and take a shuttle bus.
Additional Comments: If you went to the old stadium the difference is night and day.  That place was good for track events, not football.

Sun Devil Stadium

Stadium: Sun Devil Stadium
Name: Jason White
Grade:
B

Pros:
Great place for a SoCal fan to come watch your team, usually more visiting fans than home fans... Great sightlines, surprisingly good views for an old park... Local aura is great, surrounding community has a great nightlife... Affordable vending... Parking easy.

Cons: Tortuously uncomfortable bench seats with no backs... Hot, dry heat all season... Expensive, highest ticket prices in the NFL... Only one scoreboard, no league updates.
Additional Comments: None.

Stadium: Sun Devil Stadium
Name: Yuval
Grade:
C

Pros:
Sunny Days, Benches and not many fans allows for great ability to lie down and get a tan when the game is a bore. Beautiful women all around. Seats have a good view of the field even up high. Lots of drink stands.

Cons: Benches are aluminum so when you get there the seats can be pretty hot!
Additional Comments: Too many away team fans at these games but the cards haven't exactly given their city a reason to cheer for them.

Superdome

Stadium: Superdome
Name: Joe S.
Grade:
B

Pros:
Plenty of seats, lots of Super Bowl history, and its the ultimate party town if you are visiting.

Cons: Dark inside due to concrete roof and color scheme.  Upper deck is very high and steep. The upper deck stairs must be 18 inches high not to mention super steep. You may have to carry the little up them.  Due to its downtown location parking is in public garages, so of course tail-gating just doesn't exist.  And that's half of what an NFL game experience is all about.
Additional Comments: I only hope the Saint's new stadium is located somewhere where tail-gating is possible.  You just know that nobody can out-do New Orleans when it comes to over-eating and over-drinking.

Texas Stadium

Stadium: Texas Stadium
Name: J.R. Eugster
Grade:
B

Pros:
The stadium is historical, it ranks close with Soldier field, and lambeau. How do you destroy such a wonderful tradition of cowboys football and not find any kind of of way to keep it alive in some way. at least make the new stadium have a hole in the roof, that's something special.

Cons: crammed, and small, score boards and screens are old, but all of this is remediable. Parking also sucks, but rules as well because COWBOY tailgaters kick ass.
Additional Comments: The stadium as a whole still kicks butt, The new stadium will, but the current plan sucks. If they don't change it than please keep TEXAS STADIUM, a top 3 stadium. I want my ring, my hole on the roof, and my great area where its outside the metroplex, not in the middle!!!!

Stadium: Texas Stadium
Name: Mike
Grade:
D

Pros:
Plenty of exits, and helpful workers. Any seat is a decent seat.

Cons: The sound system could be better. It's very easy to tell how out-dated the stadium is.
Additional Comments: overall, the atmosphere is great! I would go back in an instant!
